ABOUT

Ann Armstrong is an Owner’s Representative with hands-on experience in both the design and construction industries. She believes that successful project management includes curiosity, focused attention, and proactive communication. Her strengths lie in keen observation, thorough documentation, persistent follow-through, and meticulous attention to detail.

After 10 years of working in architecture firms, Ann ventured into welding and spent a decade fabricating steel for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Through these design and build experiences, she gained a deeper understanding of feasibility, accountability, and risk. In 2015 Ann shifted gears and joined Topo Development as a project manager, overseeing the design and construction process of commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. She continued her project management work with milk + honey spa in 2022.

During her free time, Ann enjoys paddling Texas' rivers, documenting Austin's urban forest, collaborating on mapping projects with Austinites, creating ephemeral sculptures with the wind, and working with  non-profits on innovative interpretive work.
